Addiction can violate ethical duties to clients and increase the risk of malpractice claims or grievances. Fortunately, resources are available for attorneys seeking help for themselves or a colleague.

Erica Grigg, J.D., of Grigg Counseling, and Michelle Fontenot, J.D., Director of the Texas Lawyers’ Assistance Program, will examine the ethical implications of addiction while sharing their recovery stories and practical guidance for lawyers seeking support for themselves or others.
